Dimas is an amazing waiter. I have been multiple times and had great service. The food is wonderful between the fried artichokes, fresh pastas and natural wines. Bar pallino in the basement is also top notch. I always take my out of town visitors here

I almost never leave reviews but I noticed that this absolute GEM of a restaurant is CRIMINALLY underrated on yelp. This is among my favorite restaurants in Boston on all fronts, Food beverage, vibes, and service are all top notch. 1 star yelp reviews have no idea what they're talking about- I'm assuming because unfortunately this place is in more of a touristy neighborhood and doesn't necessarily cater to the cheeseburger, chicken fingers, $1 Oysters and French fry type it might lose some points. Sure the prices are a bit elevated but in my opinion there's almost no other restaurant in Boston that provides such an elevated dining experience at a somewhat reasonable price point. This menu is eclectic, fun and fresh. I highly recommend this place over almost any euro trash or corporate garbage that Newbury and Boston over all has to offer. This restaurant deserves your money and time go here.

Great food. Great service. A little pricey but what isn't these days! Had a nice dinner with family!

Food: Branzino was really soft inside and crispy outside. Went well with potatoes and salsa was delicious. Cacio e pepe: Way too salty for me unfortunately. The flavor was too strong for me and I felt like I wanted to pour water to dilute the saltiness. Overall, staff were friendly. Food was on bit pricier side.

I like the spacious environment and it seemed like a great place for catching up with friends. I honestly was not impressed with the food. Nothing tasted off by any means, I just didn't really enjoy the flavor profile of the food we ordered. We also ordered the steak and potatoes which I forgot to grab a picture of. I did think the potatoes were yummy. The service was great, friendly and attentive. I am open to coming back and trying other items on the menu simply because of the good vibes and service.

Returning for a second review, this Italian spot has its fair share of hits and a few misses. Consistently stealing the show is the burrata--hands down the best dish on the menu. Made in-house with imported Italian milk and served with a side of salty, briny caponata, it's an absolute delight. However, the octopus, once a favorite, took a salty nosedive bordering on inedible. A real head-scratcher. Now, the stuffed fried olives? Absolute revelation. Sausage-filled, super crispy outside, and oozing savory goodness. Though, the alioli didn't quite pull its weight. The crudo was a home run, a symphony of flavors featuring potentially the best raw scallop of my life. A dance of nuances, but it's the overall freshness that makes it truly exceptional. On to the pasta--tried the squid in trottole. Good, a bit fishy, loved the creaminess from the leeks, but it hit a plateau of boredom. Enter the whole fried dorade, a bit of a letdown. Juicy and flaky fish, but lacking seasoning. The fried potatoes seemed boiled--soggy city. A mysterious balsamic-ish sauce? No explanation, no purpose.

Loved this place! After finally finding parking and walking about a mile, it was great to be greeted here. Lovely decor and ambience and even some space between tables! Very friendly server and amazing gluten free options! Wish I could have eaten more!
